All cakes are bespoke and freshly made to order. I can either design something new or you can choose a design from my portfolio. If you decide to choose a design from my portfolio you can of course change colours, flowers and models to compliment any theme that you may be having at your celebration.

It is preferable to have at least 2 months notice when ordering wedding cakes, and 1 month for all other celebrations. Depending upon my workload, I may be able to accept orders at shorter notice, so please do ask! The more notice you can give me the better chance I can guarantee your date for you.

To confirm an order, a non-refundable deposit is required. The balance for wedding cakes is due 3 weeks before the delivery or collection of the cake. The balance for celebration cakes is due on collection or delivery. I can accept payment by cash, cheque, and bank transfer.

Cake design and alterations can be made up to but no later than 2 weeks before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly. Please note that any hand made figures will be a representation rather than accurate image and that colours may vary slightly for each cake.

Delivery of Wedding cakes to the local area, within 10 miles is free. This includes set up of the cake and I will liaise with your venue regarding cake stands etc. Delivery charges for other destinations are available on request. Whilst I recommend that all wedding cakes are set up by myself, cakes can be collected.

Please note that if the cake is collected, the full responsibility for the safety of the cake is with the yourselves - The Cake Bank will not accept responsibility for any damage caused in transit, due to incorrect storage or during set up. Cakes should be transported on a flat base - usually the boot of the car is ideal.

Every care and attention is given to your cake to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. However, in the very unlikely case that you are not happy with your order, please contact us and return at least two thirds of the cake within 24 hours so that suitable action can be taken as deemed appropriate by The Cake Bank. This will be either by repair, replacement or a partial or full refund. After this time we are unable offer a refund/replacement due to the perishable nature of the product.

A full list of the allergens & ingredients used in our cakes is available upon request, but your cake is prepared in a kitchen where known allergens are present. Your cake will contain some of the following ingredients: Cereals containing gluten, Eggs, Milk, nuts, peanuts, Sulphur dioxide.
